The Devil's Gorge:
a mysterious natural wonder
Visit the fascinating Devil’s Gorge, which gets its name from its wild and untouched beauty. Hike nearly four kilometers through this unique wonder of nature. The rugged terrain and spectacular rock formations spark your imagination, giving you a fabulous adventure hike. Explore the narrow paths, the deep rock crevices, and let yourself be enchanted by the mystical atmosphere. You might even discover the devil’s claws along the way. That’s what the fossilized remains of an extinct species of shell are called.

The Eifelsteig:
a paradise for hiking enthusiasts
If you enjoy longer hikes or walks, the Eifelsteig is probably the most suitable of the Eifel activities. The long-distance trail stretches 313 kilometers from Aachen to Trier and offers you beautiful views of the region's landscape across 15 stages. Along the way, you'll encounter mystical moors, rugged rocks, and tall grassy landscapes that sway in the wind like the sea. Even extinct volcanic craters are sights you can find in the Eifel.

Cycling through the Eifel
The Eifel is also a paradise for cyclists. As one of Germany's most well-known cycling regions, it offers you well-developed bike paths and a varied environment. Here you'll find ideal conditions for bike tours of all difficulty levels. Conquer gentle or steep hills, ride through dense forests, and take in the revitalizing air of the Eifel. You can bring your own bike or rent one on site – whichever you prefer.
